In the spirit of their strong E3 showing, Sony put 12 full PS3 games up for FREE for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Starting with 12 blockbuster titles worth over $260 – including inFAMOUS 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Saints Row 2, Just Cause 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – PlayStation Plus members will now have a library of games to play in addition to exclusive features like online game saves, automatic updates, priority access to betas, and the best discounts on games, DLC, and other content on the PlayStation Store – all for less than $5 a month. New games will be introduced all the time, so you’ll never run out of awesome titles to play!
Just to recap, the 12 free games are as follows (with links to those we’ve reviewed):
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown
Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
Just Cause 2
Saints Row 2
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
Choplifter HD
Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone
Sideway: New York
12 full games for free is absolutely incredible, and if PS+ can stay as strong as it has lately, there’s going to be no reason to not consider PS+ as essential to your gaming as Xbox Live is for 360 users. Nintendo and Microsoft, it’s your move.

PS+ was totes worth it when I got it a few months ago. This is pretty amazing, but I kinda wanted something involving the cloud gaming rumors that were swirling. But hell who am I to argue with free LittleBigPlanet2 ?
