Kratos returns in what’s obviously a prequel, dating back to before the events of God of War: Chains of Olympus took place. This trailer doesn’t show any gameplay, but from the narration of things, I’m wondering if they’re going to make a Dynasty Warriors type game where General Kratos destroys armies almost single handedly. Sony claims this is the most “ambitious God of War title yet”, so I’m sure it won’t be the typical story driven 3rd person action title we’ve all grown to love.
Maybe it’s just me, but doesn’t this seem to the be the perfect type of God of War for the PS Vita? Oh well, I’m sure I’m thinking way too much about a game we know hardly anything about it. The Blog mentions we’ll find out more information during a live stream on April 30th, so we’ll see what happens.
